The Agop Signature series is Istanbul Agop's most personal line, completed posthumously from master cymbalsmith Agop Tomurcuk's own notebook of cymbal-making secrets, built up over decades of feedback from the jazz drummers who passed through his factory. It represents the culmination of a lifetime dedicated to craftsmanship, and each cymbal is hand-hammered from B20 bronze to exacting specifications drawn directly from that notebook, extremely dark, trashy, dry and complex by design.

At 17 inches, this crash is paper thin, dark, dry and low-pitched, with a distinctive character that stands apart even within Istanbul Agop's own range. Despite how dry it sounds on paper, it carries real warmth alongside that dryness, giving you a fuller, more universal cymbal than many equally dry crashes from other makers.
