This Gretsch Broadkaster 20" Drum Kit, Tangerine Metallic Gloss is now available with us at Graham Russell Drums.

The original thin 3-ply shell, first introduced over 100 years ago in the 1920s, continues to influence modern drum design. Today’s Broadkaster drum features a maple/poplar/maple shell that carries forward the sonic brilliance of its namesake, delivering a rich and resonant tone that has defined generations of drummers.

Broadkaster shells are crafted using Gretsch’s North American maple/poplar/maple formula. Each shell incorporates an interior-ply scarf joint, enhancing the structural integrity of these thin, highly musical shells. True to Gretsch’s USA-made tradition, all shell interiors are finished with the classic Gretsch Silver Sealer. The hand-finished roundover bearing edge maximises contact between the drumhead and shell, producing a tone that is deep, warm, and harmonically rich.

Like the legendary Broadkaster drums of the 1950s, today’s model delivers warm, dense, and balanced tones. Thanks to modern manufacturing advancements and finishing techniques, the contemporary Broadkaster offers enhanced dynamic response and greater sonic presence than its historic predecessors.

This kit includes a 20" x 14" bass drum, a 14" x 14" floor tom, and a 12" x 8" rack tom, providing a versatile setup suitable for a wide range of musical styles.
