The drum kit, as you would expect, has evolved considerably over the last 100 years or so and is essentially a collection of various instruments which, when played together musically, provide the perfect accompaniment for nearly any genre of music. Drum kits are available in many different sizes, configurations, and colors. Typically, for most musical situations, a drum kit will be made up of 4 or 5 drums and a selection of cymbals, although the more adventurous drummer could well consider a kit of up to 24 drums! There really are no rules, but the music being performed should always dictate which drum kit is required by the player. We stock or can get most brands of drums, both new and used.
