The CODE Generator 8" Coated Drum Head features a twin-ply construction made from two 7.5 mil layers of coated PET film, delivering a durable and controlled response that is well suited to medium and heavier playing. Its fast attack and quick decay help smaller toms sound focused and articulate, while the reduced sustain makes it easier to achieve a tight, punchy sound without relying heavily on additional dampening.

A bonded outer ring provides further control over unwanted overtones, helping to produce a focused note while retaining enough body and projection to keep the drum sounding full and musical. The durable textured coating provides additional tone control and a responsive playing surface suitable for brushes, while the aluminium rim with steel core helps provide a secure fit and reliable tuning performance.
