Cymbals

It's no secret that a drummer's choice of cymbals is absolutely vital to the overall sound of their drum kit. When selecting a set of cymbals it is very important to try them before you buy; every cymbal has a completely different feel as well as sound. These are just a few of the ways that you can identify how a cymbal will sound just by looking at! - - The smaller the cymbal, the higher the pitch. - A thick or heavy cymbal will have a higher pitch as opposed to a thinner or lighter cymbal of the same size, which will have a lower pitch. - If a cymbal has a smaller bell, it will be drier. Cymbals with bigger bells are livelier. - Heavier cymbals are brighter in sound than lighter cymbals which have a darker sound. At Graham Russell Drums, it's important to us that you get the right cymbal to suit the needs of the music you're performing. Being the largest drum store in the UK, we have a huge stock inventory which is all on-hand to try. Feel free to bring your existing cymbals with you if you're looking to match up an add-on to your current set up or you're alternatively looking to enquire about a possible part exchange.
