Meet El Estepario Siberiano In Store

Meet El Estepario Siberiano in store at Graham Russell Drums for a meet & greet / signing with The Cost, after their Southampton show at The 1865.

Meet El Estepario Siberiano In Store - The day After The Cost at The 1865

We’re pleased to be welcoming El Estepario Siberiano and his band The Cost to Graham Russell Drums for an in-store meet & greet / signing the day after their performance at The 1865 in Southampton.

If you’ve come across his playing online, you’ll already understand why this is a rare chance: an opportunity to meet one of the most watched drummers IN THE WORLD in person AND 'The Cost', grab a photo or signature, and have a quick chat in the showroom.

Who is El Estepario Siberiano?

El Estepario Siberiano (Jorge Garrido) is a Spanish drummer who has built a huge global audience through short-form performance clips, play-throughs and drum-focused content - the kind that drummers rewind because the coordination doesn’t seem real.

He’s also a working musician with band credentials behind the kit: he’s the drummer in The Cost, and this visit is tied directly to the band’s UK date in Southampton.

What happens in store

This is a meet & greet / signing session (not a performance). The intention is simple: a chance for local drummers to meet El Estepario (and The Cost), grab a photo, get something signed, and have a quick conversation.

When?

Wednesday 18 February at 1pm.

El Estepario signature gear in store

We’ll also have a couple of El Estepario signature items available in store, and they’re available to buy on the website too.

  • El Estepario Signature Meinl Sticks: El Estepario Siberiano and Meinl created a signature stick designed to balance versatility with speed and agility. It uses select US hickory, a medium-thin 0.555" diameter (just under a 5A), a 16.375" length, and an acorn tip for clear cymbal definition.

"We spent a few months developing the perfect stick that works in every single style of music. Not only did Meinl work on the diameter and length for balance, but Meinl also found the weight I needed for durability. Now, each pair lasts longer than my last marriage. This is not just a drumstick. This is the tool I use to make a living, and I trust it with my life."

  • El Estepario Signature Meinl Cajon: Handbuilt in Spain, this limited Artisan Edition cajon pairs Baltic Birch construction with a deep black finish and El Estepario’s signature logo. It is designed for strong low-end weight, crisp slaps, and clear separation, with a responsive internal snare setup.

    Key features

    • Two sets of four pre-tuned strings for a balanced snare effect

    • Premium Baltic Birch for rich lows and articulate attack

    • Artisan Tango Line build for dynamic sensitivity and tonal separation

    • Custom internal snare system for precise response
